Open House & Toolkit Workshops

The event is open to all Texas STEM counselors, advisors, and educators working in private, public, or charter high schools, as well as secondary-level home schools. We begin the day by introducing the SHP academic programs, followed by engaging panel discussions with students. These sessions will provide valuable insights into SHP and its student community. We will then tour the school in our new building (three floors with classrooms and state-of-the-art laboratories).

After lunch, the STEM educators will participate in toolkit workshops hosted by our programs. Each toolkit includes a concise lesson plan derived from the academic program curricula, specifically designed for high school educators and aligned with the TEKS curriculum. Educators will also receive applicable online resources and supplies to support their instruction.

Space is limited, so we encourage early registration. Upon successful registration and verification, particpants will receive a final confirmation of their acceptance and will earn continuing education credit upon full participation in the event.
