Welcome to the Ludwig Lab. We study sarcoma across the spectrum of basic, translational and clinical science. On the basic science side, we leverage cutting-edge single-cell technologies to deconvolve tumor heterogeneity and identify cellular subpopulations that drive tumor aggressiveness and metastasis. Translationally, we develop rational combinatorial targeted strategies in sarcoma model systems and identify predictive biomarkers of response. Clinically, we design innovative platform trials to accelerate the delivery of promising therapies to patients, while integrating data science-driven modeling to predict the most effective treatment strategies.
