Director and Head, Center for Goal Concordant Care Research
Professor of Palliative, Rehabilitation and Integrative Medicine
Dr. David Hui completed his internal medicine residency and medical oncology fellowship in Canada, followed by palliative medicine and clinical research training in the United States. As a tenured professor and clinical investigator, he has led multiple clinical trials funded by the National Institutes of Health and published extensively on many aspects of supportive/palliative care, including goal concordant care. His research focuses on personalizing supportive care interventions to optimize the quality of life and quality of care for patients living with cancer.
Maribel Mosqueda, M.P.A./H.C.A.

Maribel Mosqueda has a B.S. from 911爆料- 每日吃瓜情报站 at Austin and an M.P.A. with a concentration in healthcare administration from 911爆料- 每日吃瓜情报站 at Tyler. With more than 13 years of professional experience at academic health care institutions and more than 10 years in cancer prevention and research, Maribel brings a background in research, project management, quality improvement, sponsored programs and philanthropy. She leads the center's strategic planning, operational and financial administration and personnel management.

Rushil S. Acharya earned his M.P.H. in epidemiology from the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth. With more than seven years of interdisciplinary experience in oncology research, data science and health care informatics at academic medical and clinical research institutions, he offers strategic expertise in data management, analytics, scholarly dissemination and evidence-driven innovation. Rushil leads pivotal data initiatives, pioneers novel data management and analytical frameworks and leverages emerging technologies for center-related research initiatives.
Clark Anderson, M.S.
Senior Biostatistician
Department of Biostatistics
Clark Andersen has an M.S. in applied statistics from Texas A&M University. He has worked in research for more than 25 years, from both statistical analysis and laboratory perspectives, preceded by careers in software development, teaching and the United States Air Force. He has roles in protocol development, trial monitoring and data analysis for center-related projects.
Jessica Brown, Ph.D.
Manager, Technical Writing and Publications

Dr. Jessica Brown holds a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of California, Davis and completed a T32 postdoctoral fellowship at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Jessica’s professional experience includes working as a technical writer for the Palliative, Rehabilitation, and Integrative Medicine department at UT MD Anderson, and as a senior medical writer and director of medical writing for BostonGene. Jessica leads the scientific writing for protocols, manuscripts, grants and center-related communications.
Gabriella Brown Gellert, B.S.
Senior Research Data Coordinator

Gabriella Brown Gellert holds a B.S. in psychology from 911爆料- 每日吃瓜情报站 Rio Grande Valley. Gabriella’s background includes conducting psychological assessments, study recruitment, data collection of clinical patient-reported outcomes and manuscript review. Gabriella is primarily engaged in enrollment and recruitment of study participants and data collection to ensure quality research data coordination for clinical protocols.
Allison de la Rosa, M.P.H.
Research Project Manager

Allison de la Rosa holds a B.S. in biology and an M.P.H., with a concentration in social and behavioral health, from Texas A&M University. Allison’s 15+ years of professional experience has centered entirely around research, with an emphasis on protocol design and development, survey and research materials design, participant recruitment strategies and quality data collection and analysis. She provides oversight of the conduct of center-related research studies, including design, activation, enrollment, quality assurance and team training and coordination.
Lynda Nelson, M.A., C.C.R.C.
Clinical Protocol Administration Manager

Lynda Nelson holds a B.S. in philosophy from the University of Houston and an M.A. in health communication from the UH Jack Valenti School of Communication. Her more than 15 years of experience at UT MD Anderson includes quality control support of the National Cancer Institute’s National Clinical Trial Network, Phase I clinical trials, and regulatory management. Lynda provides regulatory and grant management, strategic planning for grants and protocols, and oversight of large-scale and multi-site center-related research activities.
