Genomic and transcriptomic profiling expands precision cancer medicine: the WINTHER trial
The Winther trial is the first initiative of the Worldwide Innovative Networking (WIN) Consortium in personalized cancer medicine, a non-profit, non-governmental organization funded by MD Anderson Cancer Center and Institute Gustav Roussy Cancer Center. It now includes 36 institutional members. The WINTHER study was one of the last projects of our late MD Anderson Cancer Center Emeritus President and WIN Emeritus Chairman Dr. John Mendelsohn.
